What to do while you wait
1. Call us first
Talking to a person beats filling out a form when water is coming in. We'll ask a few questions and tell you honestly whether it needs a crew today.
2. Contain the water
Move furniture, put a bucket under the drip, and if a ceiling is bulging, poke a small hole at the low point to let it drain instead of collapsing.
3. We stabilize the roof
Tarping, temporary patching, and flashing repairs to stop the water — then a written plan for the permanent fix once the roof is dry.
Please don't climb onto a wet roof. Most serious injuries we hear about happen to homeowners trying to tarp in the rain.
Emergencies we handle
- Active interior leaks and ceiling stains
- Wind-blown or missing shingles after a storm
- Tree and branch impact damage
- Failed flashing around chimneys, skylights, and walls
- Ponding and split seams on flat / low-slope commercial roofs
- Ice-and-freeze damage and gutter overflow leaks
- Emergency tarping to protect the building before insurance adjusting
Storm damage & insurance
If a storm caused the damage, document it before anything is repaired: photograph the interior damage, the exterior, and any debris. Keep the date and the weather event. We provide written, itemized assessments of what failed and what it takes to make it right, which is what an adjuster needs to see.
We're not public adjusters and we won't promise your claim will be approved — but our documentation is thorough, and we'll walk the roof with your adjuster if that helps.
